Brothers

说到车库朋克和布鲁斯摇滚，或许人们首先想到的就是近些年风头正劲的The White Stripes，没错，由White夫妻俩组成的白色条纹的确是掀起了一阵布鲁斯热，而Jack White的才华也确实够本。突然间看到这支名为The Black Keys的乐队，还着实愣住了，白色条纹，黑色琴键，这样相似的乐队名，究竟是刻意模仿还是机缘巧合呢？



The Black Keys组建于美国的俄亥俄州，与白色条纹一样，他们也是两人组合，由主唱兼吉他手Dan Auerbach和鼓手Patrick Carney组成，从这点来看，两支乐队成员连乐器分工都如此相似。在不可避免的被问及与白色条纹的关系时，乐队的成员说，在他们给自己的乐队起这个名字时，他们根本就没听说过The White Stripes。这么说是为了摆脱嫌疑还是事实，谁知道呢，但从组建乐队的年份来看，白色条纹似乎还真比他们能早几年，The White Stripes早在1997就成军了，而The Black Keys的组建已是2002年的事了。



纵比两支乐队，无论是曲式特点，还是段落结构，无不惊人的相似，以前一直以为Jack White那标志性的吉他riff是白色条纹专有的，但如今看来Auerbach也丝毫不逊色。不过两支乐队也并不是没有一点区别，个人认为白色条纹的风格更加多元化，当然这绝对与Jack的才华分不开，而相比之下The Black Keys的音乐则略显单一了点，尽管这张专辑中有you're the one这样的民谣作品，但其余则都是一水的布鲁斯调，似乎缺少一些变化和自身的特点。
